About Our Tool
Kokako Survey is an online tool that helps you organize and visualize the information captured in the field. An intuitive interface facilitates the data entry and the results are computed and mapped automatically. You can keep track of the project's progress and assign transects to different observers. Each observer can enter their own data saving using forms that maintain consistency and minimizing mistakes. You can also share your results with your staff or supporters via a dedicated summary report available on the internet.
Easy to Use
An intuitive, easy to use interface that is friendly to those preferring to be in the field rather than in front of a computer. Built-in validation rules, multiple choices, and pre-filled fields minimize mistakes and ensure consistency.
Clear Data Presentation
The dashboard offers an overall view on the state of the project through icons, charts, graphs, and maps. The information stored in tables can be easily sorted and filtered.
Data Mapping
The GPS tracks and kokako ranges uploaded into the app are automatically mapped giving a clear view of the follow tracks and of the birds' location.
Multiple Users
The data can be entered and viewed by approved members of the project. Team members use their own login to view and enter their data. The application is designed such that each project can see its own data only.
Sharing
Each survey has its own dedicated external page where stakeholders and supporters can view the dashboard with the overall picture of the survey.
Data Downloading
Each team member can download any of the GPX tracks uploaded by the team for more in-depth follow ups. All data including the kokako register can be saved in a spreadsheet/pdf format for additional reporting.
